Mission Statement for Cowboy Junction Church School

I believe there are two institutions that God has provided that are essential to sustain our nation - (1) the family and (2) the local church.

Our desire is to do everything we can to enhance the family and be the church that exposes the goodness of God to all, thus making known the wisdom of God to the principalities and powers that are attempting to destroy our families and thus destroying our nation.

It must begin with our children, so here is our mission statement in starting a school program here at Cowboy Junction.

Hear O Church, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength, and these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children.

I believe this is a mandate from God for us. This initiates the vision for beginning a school here at Cowboy Junction.

Everything that exists is a result of God's Word. It is only by god's Word that we will be able to live balanced lives, spirit, soul, and body. It is our desire to be a school of excellence that teaches with excellence so we can see our children function synergistically, spirit, soul, and body.

We commit ourselves:

To teach the realization of who we are in Christ Jesus as a result of being born again.

To teach that our deep needs of acceptance, identity, security, and purpose are found in God.

To teach that God has a special plan for each of us that will be revealed spiritually.

To teach with excellence through academic, emotional, and social aspects so our souls can develop and our children can grow up to be men and women of character, accountability, and integrity.

To teach the physical aspects and necessity of taking care of our bodies to bring glory to God.

By teaching with excellence, our vision is to do our part to enable our children to live a balanced life, spirit, soul, and body.

So we ask you to pray and believe with us as we embark on another facet of fulfilling our purpose of exposing others to the goodness of God. We are excited about all the positive opportunities God allows us to participate in. This is what motivates us to keep on keeping on. God is good, and He can be trusted! May 2004
